Looking for things to do this weekend that aren’t the St. Paul Art Crawl? We’ve got you covered!

“A Jumping-Off Point” at Jungle Theater

This play about a promising Black writer and her white former classmate wrestles with some very current issues. Who has the right to tell a Black story? And when mistakes are made - who is allowed to fail? Written by Inda Craig-Galván (Will Trent, How to Get Away with Murder) and directed by Sha Cage, “A Jumping-Off Point” features Vinecia Coleman, Ashawnti Sakina Ford, and Gabriel Murphy. For more information or to grab a ticket, visit the Jungle website.

Indigenous Spring Market

This market features 20 vendors honoring the traditions and philosophies of Native American creations. Here you will find cultural art, food and products available for purchase from the Indigenous community. The market takes place on Sunday, April 21, from 12pm - 4pm at Eagle and Condor Native Wellness Center, located inside the Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center.

Midwest Poetry Mash Up

Back for a second year, the Midwest Poetry Mash-Up is an expanded, five-bout poetry competition featuring nine teams. Competitors battle for incentives in front of an audience and five judges.
