Applications are now open for the 2025 Power 104.7 Media Lab!
 

Power 104.7 FM and the Center for Broadcast Journalism is proud to partner with Ramsey County Workforce Development to offer a eight-week summer intensive that offers training in radio, podcasting and multimedia journalism.

This program is designed for ambitious 17 - 24 year olds from diverse backgrounds. The program takes place July 8th - August 28th, Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Participation is limited to current residents of Ramsey County who are low income or facing employment barriers and are legally eligible to work in the united states.

Thanks to the generous funding from Ramsey County Workforce Solutions, eligible participants will receive: 

• $1,200 stipend

• Equipment: Camera, Microphone and audio recorder to keep

• The opportunity to host their own live radio show over the summer​
